I have been dabbling in several mediums lately. I love being able to pick something up and try it. I decided to make a floor cloth for my kitchen. I have been loving these color choices lately. And of course since my home is swarming with my three kiddies, my little B decided to showcase this item for me!

Some Fun Things I made

This past Christmas I decided to get creative and made some gifts for friends and family. The first of which you can order from me and I would be more than happy to make for you for $10! This bookmark is a fun way to save your page of your favourite read! After all, who doesn't like Wizard of Oz!








The second was just a fun thing to make for my best friend! We are both fans of making hand made gifts! I love the button tree idea, and I just had to try it!

Where have I been?

We are proud to introduce (yet again) another member to our family, born October 17, 2011.

Things have obviously been busy with three little ones under the age of three. But I'm loving it and have really settled into the roll of crazy mom. I have plans to continue and improve my artistic side. Hoping for big things to come!

Lucky Day Nursery

This was for a Daycare in Downtown Hamilton.  The name of the daycare is 'Lucky Day Nursery'.  So the Leprechaun with his gold was suiting for the wall!

 The mural for the Daycare had a garden theme throughout the room.  It expanded into the bathroom to tie everything in.  This mural was actually a surprise for the Daycare owner.  The room I painted was being renovated by a contractor.  It was his idea to surprise the daycare staff by hiring me to spruce the new space up!

Everyone was very happy with the finished results.  Now the kids and daycare staff have a new space to use on a daily basis and can enjoy the soft painted images around the room too!

The paintings of the birdies and the bunnies are in the bathroom.  There were only a few little critters painted on the walls here and there.  It was just to add a couple little touches to tie the washroom in with the main room.  I thought it made a nice little touch to the place. 

The rooms were actually still being constructed while I was there painting.  In the corner of this picture is where a change table will be.  There are a few little butterflies above the change table for the babies to see.

These little critters were painted along the top of the kids hooks and cubby holes when they come in from outside.  It was interesting painting these because the shelves were not up yet when I was painting. 

What's new?

Well I have not been doing much painting lately because I just recently had a new baby!  I now have a beautiful 14 month old son, Jack, and the newest addition, Elizabeth!  Now that things are settling down at home with all the changes, I am ready to get back into painting again.

Where is Laura?

I haven't been painting murals over the last couple months because I am pregnant with my second little baby.  I'm due August 1st.  I plan to resume with my art shortly after this Tiny arrives.  I look forward to getting back into things!
